Bright Magnetic Base Light

This is a great flashlight but I see it more as a tool for my use. The strong magnetic base allows you to place this light anywhere there is a metal surface. The company even offers metal washers if your surface isn't ferrous, like plastic or aluminum. So you can really use it with all your lighting needs. The light also turns on in the base so you can leave it on and turn it on and off as needed. I love that the switch is built into the base instead of hanging down half the cord like a lamp. Has a better quality feel and I also don't have to look for a switch somewhere behind my car to turn it on and off. I personally use this light with my machine tools. I have a good "yellow" brand saw that this light works with so I can see the blade and work piece well. I also use it on my multi tool which has a lathe, drill, saw and other options. I just leave one on each working part and adjust as needed with the flexible neck for my light position. The light is well designed throughout. The only part I would call a little flimsy is the lightbox itself. The plastic feels flimsy and possibly brittle. Haven't had any problems yet but in a workshop setting it's debatable how long it won't crack etc. My advice to the company is to make an extra model that can be rubberized or have a rubber sleeve to make it more industrial and sell it it as intended for the store environment. Overall, I am happy to have cheap lighting for my instruments. in machines for a light source, but which do not necessarily require a base and a flexible neck. I haven't done this, but I can see that it's very easy to use as a 'kit' for custom lighting.
