Excellent value for money. I've been looking for an affordable winter tire for my commuter truck (Specialized Sirrus) for a long time. If you live in Wisconsin, sooner or later the streets will be covered with snow. The Specialized "All Condition" 700X32 tires I normally ride just don't give me confidence when I'm driving on ice or snowy roads. I looked at MUCH more expensive tires from Continental, Specialized, and Bontrager. But in the end the Schwalbe tire tests convinced me to try them. I bought 700x35 tires. The extra width immediately gave me the comfort I was looking for. The bike obviously doesn't roll as fast (90psi on 700X32 tires versus 50psi on Schwalbe tires), but the lower pressure settles the ride. The train tracks and potholes that shook my spine with my 700X32 tires are barely noticeable with the new tires. On the first ride. I took my bike to a local race track to check the tire test results. The trail was quite wet, muddy and covered in leaves. The tires master ruts, puddles and loose leaves without flinching. On a short but steep climb I really got on the pedals and felt the tires dig into the trail as I made it up the mountain without a single slip. I have about 50 miles on the tires - 40 road and 10 trail. . There is absolutely no wear on the tires. Let the snow fly and the temperature drop. I'm looking forward to the winter fun too!
