We were talking about this at work and I decided to be everyone's guinea pig and give them a try. I usually trim weekly with an electric trimmer and there are a few hard to reach spots so I thought how great it would be to get those spots. What I didn't really care about was how much damage it could potentially do. I heated the pot in the microwave according to the instructions. I ended up having to increase the time by about 2 minutes to get it to melt properly. If you add more time, just make sure you do it at about 30 second intervals and SHAFT to make sure the temperature is the same. I used several clean/new wooden skewers. You dip the tip of the plastic thing you put in your nose into the wax, drain the excess, and then insert it into your nostril. There is a kind of "blocker" on the stick that prevents it from getting too deep into the nose. I counted to 90 and pulled down sharply. Almost ZERO pain. I mean it wasn't very comfortable, but it wasn't what I expected at all. Best of all, all the nose hair is gone. Kind of a crude look, but it does the job!
