Packed like a pile of junk.
They simply tossed the unsealed box of staples in a large envelope and mailed it, and (big surprise) the box came open and crumpled on. broken with staples and scattered throughout the envelope. I know these are high quality Bostitch staples but what good is a quality product that gets smashed?
