I purchased Xroose backup cameras to help me park my 21ft boat on my property. I used a Panasonic camera with a spotlight. I found the Xroose cameras and monitors to be the best solution for this purpose. The monitor is quite large and can display one or all cameras at the same time, which is very convenient. The cameras are so sensitive that no light is needed. This makes setup easier after a hard day on the lake, as the camera's built-in lights emit enough light to illuminate your trailer's wheels even at night. The RF connection between the Xroose cameras and the monitor is also much stronger than the WiFi connection between my Panasonic camera and my iPad. Therefore, I recommend the Xroose camera system for external backup camera applications.
