I bought this for a family member undergoing treatment of facial lesions. He just wanted something to cover the scars as the healed. This served that purpose.
Pros
- It is not thick, but my purpose was not cold weather protection.
Cons
- This balaclava hood may not be warm enough for extremely cold temperatures, especially if you are not layering properly
