So I installed this device yesterday. I had to modify the blank panel when installing it in a log wall. The block is a bit thin but good. This is the only high voltage unit I could find, so I'll have to work with it. I bought this to power my outdoor speakers by the pool so we'll see how it holds up. Bluetooth works. You need to go to your phone and select as it doesn't connect automatically. Not the main thing, but the pain. Once paired, all you need is the remote to increase and decrease volume and skip songs, so that's a plus. The volume is slightly lower when using Bluetooth compared to the radio. Radio is great if you have good stations. Aux has not been tested yet, but will be. I have no doubt it will work fine. Sound - I really can't get a good rating as it might be due to the old outdoor speakers I have. Yes, I use it outdoors under a covered porch. I have to crank the unit up just to hear 1-15 and I can start hearing around 5. I would only recommend this device because I haven't found anything else. It is suitable for listening to music while sitting on the porch with a beer or swimming in the pool.
