Review on πŸ”§ 5-Inch Stainless Steel Roadformer Lap Joint Exhaust Band Clamp - Securely Seals Muffler Insets, Outsets, Elbow Joints, Flex Pipes, and Other Exhaust System Connections by Michael Rosario

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Used on 2012 Nissan Titan Exhaust

Used where 2 pipe clamps have rotted on my 2012 Titan. For some reason, Nissan chose to make a two-piece pipe after the muffler, held together by two welded clamps. These clamps rotted over time and the last piece of pipe got stuck. I removed the rear tube (it was only held by a bracket that goes into the bushing) and cut off the old, rotten piece of yoke with a reciprocating saw (aka Sawzall). I slid under the truck, cut off another rotted piece of yoke and used this bushing to hold the two pieces together. In general, the work took no more than 15 minutes. I think I'll see how well this clip holds up in the Northeast winters, but it works great and saved me a lot compared to hauling it to the store.
