Do you remember your mother/grandmother having these on household appliances?

She was right about that. If they're on the counter, they should be covered unless you intend to dust them constantly. And if they're particularly close to where you're cooking, oil will get into the air and dust will cling to them. Think for a moment of a toaster, blender, or blender—even a lid for an instant pot; Dust/oil will clog them, pollute them and actually cause your small appliance to malfunction. They keep my small kitchen appliances clean. These cases are durable, beautiful to look at, easy to clean and the pockets are perfect for brochures or small items that come with small devices. I chose this brand because of how well they are made, how well they match and because of their price. I have a small kitchen appliance from 1986 that still works. Why? Because they are important to me. Listen to your grandmother, cover your small devices with a quality cover. You will thank me later.
