Update: Click and touch sound broke after less than five months of careful use. No haptic feedback when left clicking. There is no way to tell if the click attempt was successful or not, defeating the purpose of the emails. Very frustrating. It looks like you get what you pay for. Now I need to buy a replacement from a really reputable brand. First review: I struggled with the trackpad for too long before purchasing this inexpensive but effective Chinese mouse. It turns out that the small rectangular button at the top just before the scroll wheel is a DPI selector, effectively changing the tracking speed. It's unsightly and unnecessary, especially on a nice-looking plug-and-play mouse. Battery life remains full (three lights) after six weeks. About 10 minutes after the last touch, the mouse turns off and wakes up with a click. Pretty light and easy to carry. The slot on the bottom for storing the 2.4GHz USB dongle during transport is a nice feature. There are also no disposable batteries. It's good.
