This device, which uses a liquid cooling system to cool the hot side to around 30°C, does NOT meet the TEC1-12710 specifications. However, its performance is close to that of the TEC1-12706, which is a lower power consumption device. The device appears to behave this way regardless of temperature differences or thermal stress. This leads me to believe the blocks are either mislabeled on purpose or have poor quality control. It wouldn't surprise me. I'm disappointed but not worth the hassle of returning or exchanging. Conclusion: They work, but if you want the performance of a real TEC1-12710, you should definitely look elsewhere. The second is on the way. It could work closer to its design specification, but I'm not holding my breath.
