Update: The build quality and mic sensitivity are so good I felt compelled to upgrade it to 5 stars. (Actually a 6, minus 1 for the weird smell). It's metal and quite heavy, with a rubberized base that sits very snugly on the table. Can't comment on conferencing quality as I bought it mainly to use Cortana on an old tower PC. It picks up my voice commands perfectly, even under my desk, across the room when I'm almost whispering. Highly recommended. Original Review: Haven't used the mic yet - this review is for the packaging. The box arrived with a strange and very strong perfume smell that can irritate anyone sensitive to strong smells.
