It's just a MIC and NOT A SPEAKER! I don't think I've read it. but the quality of the microphone is excellent. Works very well at a distance. I picked up a small useless speaker and now I have a setup that's the equivalent of Jabra but is over half the price but works just as well as Jabra. :) Car.

Great. Exactly what was needed after a crappy laptop mic/video module drew its last breath. This Revain device is a quality product; heavy weight, great mic pickup - you don't need a mic near your face! Also, no special drivers are required, just plug in a USB port and select it for input in the sound settings. Exactly what I wanted (I already have built-in speakers that work, I no longer need them). Thanks very much!

We use it to adjust the zoom in our living room. We used to rely on laptop mics or cameras 10 feet away so the audio wasn't great. I bought this with a 10" USB extender and it works much better. People hear us much more clearly. I was able to find a used (very good condition) being sold by Revain for $33.80 making this a good deal. I don't know if I would like it if I paid the regular price ($58.99).

Please note that this is a microphone only. I paired it with an extra speaker I had and it worked very well as a conference system during a week of regular work conferences, so I didn't have to wear a headset (4-6 hours a day calls). I only bought the mic which saved me money compared to buying the mic and speaker options which cost twice as much. I've been told that when I speak, my voice is clear and easy to understand. We are more than satisfied with the performance of this conference microphone which we bought for recording meetings in a medium sized room where some participants were up to 4.5m away from the microphone . We record on a regular office computer using the simple Voice Recorder app that comes with Windows 10 and the results are phenomenal: every voice is clearly audible, even those who normally speak softly. Update: The build quality and mic sensitivity are so good I felt compelled to upgrade it to 5 stars. (Actually a 6, minus 1 for the weird smell). It's metal and quite heavy, with a rubberized base that sits very snugly on the table. Can't comment on conferencing quality as I bought it mainly to use Cortana on an old tower PC.
