It can carry surprisingly heavy weight

I really didn't expect it to work with my Blue Yeti but decided to give it a try for the price. As expected, the Yeti's weight was too much for him, at least a little more than 5-15° from vertical. I can get it working with a small exit angle and very little adjustment, but there really isn't much more flexibility than a solid arm. Built for the price so I'm not deducting stars because I didn't work with the Yeti in a way I didn't expect. And although he eventually collapsed, he was fairly slow to failure and wasn't far from being able to carry that much weight. Just hand bending I figured it could do it. It should work well with most microphones and accessories that aren't building blocks like the Yeti, even fully horizontally, at least if you don't have too many other things on you. But for the Blue Yeti, I'd recommend the solid mount option; I didn't really get range with it, more of a corner hanger.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive
