Finding a quality comforter online can be a challenge as you can't experience it for yourself. When the box arrived I was very disappointed as it was a small box and I thought I had been robbed. I opened the box to find that it had been vacuum sealed, which eased my previous judgement. I took the comforter out of the packaging and fluffed it up. I did notice a slight "duck/bird" smell that most people talked about, but to be honest it wasn't overpowering. Being a maniac I couldn't help but say that it's the same with all the clothes I buy. Washed in cold/warm water with original Tide detergent. Popped it in the dryer and we were good to go! This is a super nice blanket and I am very satisfied. My point is that I would like the same laws to apply to the sale of materials as to the sale of food as the blanket does not look remotely like the picture, hence my 4 star rating. It's still a fluffy blanket but not to the extent you see in the photos. It's like having a wife or a girlfriend. when you met her at the bar that first night and couldn't believe that this Jennifer Aniston was coming home with you tonight. and then you wonder 15 years later when you wake up with Ozzy Osbourne
