This bolt kit is perfect for my 2005 Chevy Avalanche Z71 4x4 LTZ Flex Fuel Truck. I filmed everything to change the oil pump on my truck because it was ticking under the hood and everyone was telling me it was jack rattle. I wanted to try this first and also update the trunnion and push rod to see if that fixed the issue. Keep in mind that I decided not to change the tappet and camshaft after checking the metal shavings in the oil pan and after removing the oil pan and the plate in the oil pan I was able to see the camshaft. I turned it by hand and saw that everything was smooth and smooth, so I knew everything was fine in that area. Also, there were no metal shavings in my oil pan. I replaced the oil pump and the ticking under my truck (5.3L) has stopped. I upgraded the trunnions because I've heard that those cheap, what I call, half-round trunnions that Chevy puts in their LSs tend to wear out after 150,000 miles, cracking and ending up in the engine causing internal damage can cause . I definitely didn't want that, so I replaced the cones with what I call full moon cones, and put in a slightly larger pole to be safe. My truck drives great. Anyway, this set of spikes worked great.
