I'm pretty sure it's just little black plastic bags that a salesperson would put your stuff in. I use them individually after every change of guard so they're great for that purpose, flip them over the hand (or whatever you like) and change voila - no fuss, no mess. As for odor control bags, I didn't put my nose in the bag test myself, but I didn't find it as far as the bin. And the bags themselves have no smell, as if they have been treated with anything. If you want to line the bin with them, they are quite small and flimsy, so you need a very small container and don't stretch much. Hope that helps.
