So easy to use you don't even have to look at the instructions. I checked the oven sensor and just plugged it in, it turned on. You set the desired temperature and it beeps when it's reached while the display continues to show the current temperature. It was much easier to use than other digital thermometers that featured separate transmitting and receiving units. I often had trouble syncing two devices and this single thermometer worked in seconds.
