Rounded version Difficult to install, but worth it

This is a wet install. Strange that the kit doesn't come with a wetting solution; You have to make your own using water and dish soap. Then moisten the protective film and place it carefully on your device. You let it dry partially and then fix the protective film. Once everything is in place, let it sit for 24-48 hours. It is normal to have small bubbles on the screen, but they will disappear in a few days. Activation and attempting a wet install will take some time. My installation went a bit poorly as I had a large air bubble between the clock and the screen after 12 hours. After squeezing it out I heard a click and then it got a lot better. After 72 hours all my mini blisters were gone. I chose the more difficult version to install as I needed a rounded edge protector instead of a regular screen protector which was easier to install. Note: The rounded edge protector only covers the rounded edges and the main part of the screen, not the metal part of the Apple Watch. Only the screen is protected. I could get a silicone bumper to protect the metal edges of my watch. All in all, that's a lot. I have five screen protectors left. I've had this screen protector on for a month now and it's still like new - doesn't peel off. I had a similar brand on my Fitbit for over three years and it was still going strong even after my Fitbit broke. I believe it will be the same. You need to be patient and wait for the protective film to stick to the device. If you do this, it will last for a long time. The touchscreen is unaffected by this screen protector and works just as well without it. My roommate didn't even notice my watch had a screen protector because it's so sleek and unobtrusive.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I'm worried
