size depends on ordered model

Bought 2 different sets but BOTH size 8-12 years. But the photo shows the size difference in 2 sets. These socks will fit my growing 6 and 7 year olds but I will NEVER understand why sizing is always such a hassle. Pooh. I'm keeping both sets despite the size difference, but be careful. softness yes My actual test will be whether they slip in shoes and whether they fit or not. I'll come back later to update.
