I bought these to put on my husband's shoes. I used it the first day. Doesn't matter! No more smelly shoe smell in the room. I put them right into all of his shoes and it really helped. It's better than leaving boxes of baking soda everywhere or trying to mask the smell with air fresheners. And he even used the Oderfresser, but they didn't help. One day the shoes started to stink. that was it. We had to try something different and it worked! They also don't have a strong odor. You can hardly tell they are there. After a few weeks, just throw them out and replace them with new ones. I would have preferred if they were reusable, but as long as something works I'm happy.
