It works when the other solution doesn't work

I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra and recently replaced all the external bulbs with LEDs. All bulbs worked properly except for the indicator/alarm bulbs which, due to their low resistance, went into hyper-flash mode when used. After researching the problem online almost every website has stated that adding capacitors to the bulb will solve the problem. It's not like this. When I went to the website to determine what type of bulbs you need (superbrightleds) it mentioned that a pull up resistor or this device would be required. Having already tried the last point, I ordered this device, which included adjusting the speed of blinking of the turn signal. I found an online video of the replacement and was able to remove the original unit and connect it in 2 minutes, no special tools required (okay I need a flashlight to see under the driver's side dash but that's it). Using an adjustable dial I was able to reduce the flash rate to normal speed and this unit has never performed better. Because it's not super loud when you turn it on like the original unit, and sometimes I almost forget even the turn signal is on.
