Easy to use, perfect espresso every time. The capsule system works great and makes using ground espresso easier. This comes at the cost of less control over the brewing process and less choice of individual coffees you have with ground espresso, and potentially an increase in the cost of a cup. Again, the pod machine performed as well or better than the ground espresso machine in a head-to-head comparison, and was more consistent and less messy. Also tried the Nespresso system which was good and offered more options for coffee pods, but the Illy machine produced better tasting espresso despite trying different types of coffee in the Nesptesso unit. Also, the Illy machine produced an espresso identical to the drink from a ground espresso machine, which the Nespresso machine did not. The milk frother works perfectly and is easy to clean. For the price, the machine is of high quality, it does not take up much space. If you don't suffer from OCD from espresso, this is a good way to go.
