I love this item. I would put 5, but that's not quite a level. I'm putting it against a wall so I'm leveling it but the unit has a bulge at the bottom I'm sure it's not a permanent thing. Although apparently it happens. But yes, the light is adjustable (i.e. your oil's evaporating temperature may be different). It's very detailed.
