I bought this antenna like most people do because my truck didn't have one and I could only pick up two radio stations. With the antenna installed, I was able to pick up the same two stations plus two other stations with static. I have to say that it improved reception, but as little as possible, almost not enough to even notice. Not to mention that if you install it on a 2001 Silverado, it won't fit. The bottom of the antenna is flared, making it almost too wide to fit in a hole on a truck. It will work, but requires some pressure and work. All in all, another crappy Chinese product sold on Revain. Reminds me why I stopped paying for Premier over a year ago.
