I have a Motorola Moto X2 and I wanted to restore all my photos, videos and downloaded documents to my laptop so I can burn the backup to the hard drive. I plugged the USB-C end into my phone and got a message saying something is wrong with the dongle (hehe) and I have to press if I want to fix it. This was expected so I clicked and my phone formatted the flash drive and it was up and running in seconds. Then I removed and reinserted the flash drive and it opened up immediately allowing me to select my files and transfer them immediately. Each transfer took only a few seconds and I completed it in minutes. Transferring content to my laptop was as easy as having both USB ends on the same flash drive is awesome. A highly recommended product.
