No programming required
There were no instructions so I googled them. I had trouble understanding them, so I didn't use the remote for a month after receiving it. I'm waiting for my husband to code. When he got to this point, he advised me that no programming was required. Imagine my surprise that it works just as well (actually better because it has more features) than the original remote. My TV is over 14 years old.
