If you are buying this and expecting it to be passed down from generation to generation you are buying for the wrong reason. I have medium hair and use different hair gels from coarse to very light. My teeth break several times a year so I replace them every three months. I keep one in my duffel bag, one in my gym bag, one in my sink at home, so I buy it from S&S every three months and it replaces broken ones. For what I pay I get a solid comb. Of course, you still have to groom your hair separately with a brush, but that's another matter entirely. For a standard styling comb, this works well for me.
