I use it in my home theater, it perfectly holds the Benq projector to the ceiling. Wiring this thing was quite labor intensive, and once installed it didn't leave much room for further modifications. and the installation with the necessary cables can be a bit difficult depending on the height of the ceiling and stairs. However, the installation was pretty easy, despite the cable issues. Choosing the angle of a projector is an experience. It has good roll and pitch control, except for the locking mechanisms. They are a little uncomfortable as they move freely (weight) with the projector installed. With the test screen facing up, tilt the projector to the angle you want and, while leaving it stationary, lock it in place by reaching onto the top of the projector to lock it with those weird locks that put pressure on them from a specific angle require direction. lead to some stress. It keeps the configuration pretty solid, but you can force it to move when it's locked, meaning the weight of the device will pull it out of alignment over time and need to be adjusted. I had to reconfigure mine about twice a year to be able to install it.
