Bought for an 8 year old who wears size 2 youth clothes regularly. The inline skates looked high quality right out of the box and the laces were very easy to put on. Love that the ankles don't wobble because of the added ankle strap. Too tight at first so I would say they are a bit small but that is not a problem as there is still plenty of room to grow. They were also very easy to resize. Function: They are very easy to roll and the lights on the wheels are very cool when rolling. The only problem our daughter had when skating for the first time was the brake. Initially she found it difficult to use the brake due to the placement on the heel but with practice I think it won't be a problem. Overall great inline skates for beginners and we love the room to grow!
