I use these pens in adult coloring books. I'm an aspiring "colorist" working on layers, blending and brush strokes. These pencils are good in the $80 price range. They are in no way equivalent to those sold for $150-$300 a set. They don't color as smoothly, don't blend as easily, and don't contain as much pigment as the few premium pencils I own. I found the paint to be blotchy and waxy to the touch when applied. I was able to switch from color to color easily and they sharpen very well with no broken leads or cracked wood. I don't think I would buy these again.
