This is the first 'high end' hand grinder Ive tried and have not been disappointed at all. You can read about it on their website to learn about the materials and how its constructed. I can say it is very sturdy and fully expect it to last years. The grind increments are what make it very capable of multiple grind types. I use it for turkish and pour-over. The turkish grind will take a bit more work but it produces a nice powder as expected. One note; Ive seen a couple of reviews comparing this grinder against more expensive grinders and when it comes to comparing the final product which is the brewed coffee - some have choosen the brew made with this grinder over their more expensive competitors. So what does this mean? I think if you are looking for a nice grinder, capable of turkish and expresso up through pour over, siphon, and french press grinds with .0125mm per click then try this one.
