Review on Berserker Demolition Breaker SDS Hex Vibration by Kevin Carr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This thing is a beast

The Berserker Demolition Breaker 35lb model was voted a top 10 for 2021. It's a 60 pound model and it's a beast. It easily passes my particular step. Photos do not convey justice. The bit size alone is surprising when you open the case. By the way, only the case is really disappointing. The clasps are poorly constructed, fall apart and even fall off. I can't believe a tool of this caliber and quality saved so much on the case. This is a large suitcase that even has wheels due to the weight of the contents. You need to make new bars. When I figure it out I can come back and update the review. This is a molded body with snaps in the hammerbit sections which are no frills. Everything about it is very doable except for the latches. It comes with a large tube of advanced lube and even an extra set of brushes so you don't have to search for the right pair. The tool accepts bits with or without a shin collar. The lubricating oil is put into the oil tank and will last for about 20 days with 3 to 4 hours of daily use. When it runs out, you can replace it with Shell Oil ROTELLA#40, available at Shell petrol stations. Oil level gauge on the side of the tool, a visual indicator will let you know when the level falls below one eighth of an inch. This hammer has one downside compared to street jackhammers: you need to use some force to hold it. down so it doesn't jump all over the place. So that's a compromise. Heavier tools help penetration but require more force to move. I'm not a concrete specialist, but my house was built in 1955 and the side patio slopes down to the side of the house. It's 8″ thick but thankfully was sealed 4″ over a 4″ base so it should fall apart easily. There are cracks in my sidewalks that are only 3 or 4 inches thick so this 60 pound beast will fit in short order. work from them. Occasion aside, there's nothing that isn't industrial quality.
