If you are over a certain age and wear bifocals, you may find it difficult to find the optimal distance from your computer monitor. In my case, I can't read my screen bifocally, either at a distance or up close. Before receiving them, I was always either leaning back and forth or raising and lowering my head to try and see something. Nothing good with ergonomics. These clip-on glasses serve a dual purpose: they allow me to read the screen easily, but also protect my eyes from the monitor's UV rays. I keep another pair in the car because I can't clearly read the gauges, radio, or air conditioner controls with any part of my bifocals. Rather than investing in trifocals or other driver-only goggles, they fold out of the way during normal driving and fold down for a quick glimpse of the dash. They're very light, so don't put any pressure on your nose.
