This is a good tray that is easy to put together and just as easy to take apart. I like that there is a hook to hang the shovel and the device feels sturdy enough. My 11kg cat was on it with no problems. This is a medium sized cat and there is plenty of room for her. The real test will be when my 18kg cat Greg uses it. Not only is he a big boy, he pees standing up sometimes, which will be a test of the tightness of any tray. To be honest I hope we never have to use this litter box as it was only bought in a "kitty go bag" for emergencies. We recently had to evacuate due to a wildfire that happened about 1/4 mile from our home and that's when I realized I'd rather take anything they might need with me. As you can see from the picture, this tray fits perfectly in a suitcase and now everything we need for a few days is in one bag. This might seem like overkill to some because I could go to the store and buy what I need for cats. However, due to the stress of the situation, I quickly realized that I'd rather be prepared so we can go straight to our extraction point and then relax before worrying about entering the store.
