Not sure how much impact protection this helmet is going to offer because it's so light. My son (adult) always rides his 4 wheeler without a helmet so I picked up this set in the hopes he would wear one. He always says he hates how hard the helmet is on his head. When this set arrived I took the helmet and it was very light so I knew he couldn't use the heaviness as an excuse for me anymore haha. He definitely thought the set looked cool. Even I love the look! Like I said, if he's ever in an accident I don't really know how well protected he'll be BUT at least I feel better knowing there's SOME SOMETHING on his head, uh, nothing on the head. Despite what you get in this set I think it comes at a great price!
