Review on πŸ“Ά Boost Your Wi-Fi Signal with TP-Link N300 Wireless Extender and Router - 2 High Power Antennas, Access Point, WISP, 300Mbps by (seo joon) ᠌

I should have looked better, I spent money on an ordinary product.

At first (the first six months) everything was fine. After six months of use (and I bought it in August 2022), it began to fail hard. Wi-Fi was constantly disappearing, wired Internet was endlessly stupid. With glitches, a reboot helped for a while. I was tired of suffering so much, I took it to the SC, they recognized it as a warranty case and eventually returned the money to me. The previous router, the same TL-WR841ND, but with the D index at the end (this is the same model, only with removable antennas) worked for me for over 3 years and also died at one time with exactly the same symptoms. I bought the same model for my parents in March 2022 - so far it works. 05/06/2022 - it still works for parents. The result for 6 years: 3 such routers were bought, 1 of them died, 1 was handed over for repair in the SC (the money was returned), 1 is still working.

Pros
  • The low price is probably its only advantage. Easy to set up for a beginner, there is a clear and convenient setup wizard.
Cons
  • Very light - wires pull it down from the shelf. Wi-Fi is weak in power and coverage - already through 2 walls the signal is barely alive. The quality is so-so: out of 3 such routers, 2 broke.
