This is fantastic. I have never used a sewing machine. This made it harder for me to set this up, i.e. your average person. Check out the MainlyAcre Farms YouTube channel for lots of great, no-hassle videos to help with setup. This machine is not immediately ready for use after unpacking. This requires significant customization. The advantage is that it is a durable machine that is difficult to damage. It's made out of big pieces of metal. It's not difficult to put together, the tricky part is getting the top thread to the bottom thread in the bobbin, setting the tension, pulling the thread correctly and knowing which parts set which part. Automobile. But once it rolls, you'll be amazed. The thing just works. It's not fashionable. Has a seam. But when it pierces the skin, the canvas, almost anything that fits under the foot. Great little sewer!
