Sewing leather A dream comes true! Forget the old reviews on this product. The dealer for this machine makes a quality product. Not greasy and doesn't require much cleaning. It worked right out of the box with the right threads. Despite what others say about the stand, it supports the sticker, just use a lower chair or stool. Excellent sewer. Assembly is tricky but doable

This is fantastic. I have never used a sewing machine. This made it harder for me to set this up, i.e. your average person. Check out the MainlyAcre Farms YouTube channel for lots of great, no-hassle videos to help with setup. This machine is not immediately ready for use after unpacking. This requires significant customization. The advantage is that it is a durable machine that is difficult to damage. It's made out of big pieces of metal. Yes, it is ROUGH

As others have said, this machine is NOT plug and play. It works so crudely (metal to metal) that it's more than just refining production oil. The machine needs to be disassembled, parts cleaned, moving metal parts smoothed (or polished), sharp edges ground down, nylon washers added and lubricated. The "white" steel parts are covered in forging marks and carbon, and the welds are incredibly poor (but strong). And while it doesn't interfere with work, it looks terrible.
