Review on 🎧 Sony D-NE518CK: ATRAC3/MP3 CD Walkman with Car Kit - Optimize Your In-Car Entertainment by Marcus Braunstein

I searched the internet for about a month for the perfect MP3 player and finally bought it as it had many features. I used this in my car almost every day but couldn't play MP3s due to poor sound quality. Even with a new CD and a 128kbps recording, I couldn't get CD sound from my Sony. But I was able to get CD quality sound on my old Panasonic (which I got rid of because it didn't tag songs) and on my computer. To make matters worse, atraks sound worse than mp3s and you can't play them on your computer. To make matters worse, this thing just stopped working after about a month, although I've taken good care of it and never dropped it or anything that could seriously damage it. And I thought Sony could handle anything! This is how I rate each feature. Display - too small but I like that it has the album name and songs in the same mode (instead of having to press the display to reach each other) 3/5 remote control - perfect for the car but not so perfect for Walk or sit 4/5 Design is your opinion, but I didn't like the 2/5 key layout - the keys are too small. Unless of course you use a pencil to press the buttons 1/5 sound quality - poor MP3 good audio CD 3/5 this pack - car adapter is ok 4/5 bass - at level 2 it starts the music 1/5 so too distort I would recommend Panasonic with these tags and has a remote control over it. I just bought it and the MP3 sound quality is better and the audio CD quality is excellent. In addition, the bass is not distorted.
