I used this product to make dessert pies of various types to give to others. It was nice not to have to be concerned about "retrieving" the empty pie plate from the person receiving the pie. The baking was a little uneven. It is best when using this product to place the pie on a baking sheet to help even out the heat for more even baking. The also have less volume than my 9" glass pie plates.
