Review on 🔭 Leeyoung Portable Telescoping Aluminum Capacity by Justin Zilinskas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly strong for such a light weight

This is my first compact portable cart (trolley). And I have to admit, I'm pleasantly surprised at how well this has worked so far. I've used heavy steel hand trucks all my life. Houses, warehouses, steel mills. If the tires don't fail, the old decades can last. But there's a catch. They're not compact, they're light, and they're not very portable unless you're rolling them on concrete. We need something on our land that will help move heavy things but without having to lug one of our handcarts with us from place to place. And so far this handcart has reliably solved this problem. It weighs only a few pounds more than a bag of potatoes from the supermarket. When everything is closed and compact, you can easily carry it around like a folding camping chair. When it first came in the mail I didn't think the package was for a handcart. I looked at this flat square box, it looked like a large wall clock. Then take the flat, compact handcart out of the packaging. In just a few seconds you open the handle, slide out the wheels and flatten the nose plate. It's so easy, the kid will figure it out without even looking at the instructions. When you're done, it takes you less than ten seconds to make it compact again. It easily hides almost anywhere. The good news is that it rolls smoothly. It feels solid despite being made from lightweight aluminum. I can easily move an object weighing about 150 pounds without much effort. The weight limit must be 300 pounds. I will review it to fully believe it. I have a front loading washer and dryer that will need to be moved at some point, they are in the 200-250 lb range. So this will be a real test. Not so much whether the nose plate will hold, but whether the wheels will hold. There is one notable downside for me. I'm not sure yet if it's worth deducting a star from the rating. Because it's still a good handcart for the price. But it's the extra handles that are part of the frame. They don't snap. So if you adjust these handles so that you can hold them up instead of the closed frame, they can move unexpectedly. I discovered this the hard way by moving the air conditioner window unit. The handles began to slip out of position as I pushed the handcart forward. It would be nice if there was a way to lock them in place, that's all. never mind So far I'm satisfied. My mother in law loves to use it. She is easy to move. She can move a generator or a large package unaided. I can use it to move things when I don't have an extra pair of hands nearby. Over time I will update my review of how well this thing is aging. But the fact that this is the first compact portable cart we own still amazes us all. I would say order it, try it. See if it works for you as it has for us.
