I used these in my Halloween decorations, both inside and out, and had troubles with the remote being able to turn them off after several hours of continual use. I had thought maybe the outside one was due to water but the inside one had the same issue. I had to pull the batteries and reset it in order for the remote to work in turning it off. They still are useful for some things but I might look at other options if I needed to order again.
