Got these after trying another cheap pair that didn't seem to make a difference. I was also disappointed that online blue light filter tests didn't seem to work. Well, they don't seem to have much to do with online blue light tests, but they do seem to make a difference to my eyes after hours of screen use. I'm not sure if online blue light tests are actually good for blue. filter glasses. I don't wear prescription lenses for vision correction, but 5 members of my family do. They have a blue light filter, and since one of them only has correction in one lens, I was able to use the uncorrected lens in online filter tests. These glasses actually filter slightly better than prescription lenses; albeit with the slight yellow tinge that others have mentioned. Basically I thought you probably don't need 100% blue filtering as the online tests indicate. It would look strange. If anyone knows where to find them I'm interested in trying them out. The combination of ratings is correct; The hinge mechanism and materials appear to be good glasses, but they are a bit fragile. And the lenses get dirty and probably scratch easily (although I've avoided that so far). They appear to be coated lenses rather than something actually made to filter out blue light (like you'd want in an expensive pair of prescription lenses). But I think the product deserves 5 stars because it does what it promises. and get value through price. If anyone knows things that "pass" the online blue light tests that I'm interested in, please comment.
