I've been looking for a low-sugar, high-protein herbal supplement for a long time. Most of them are sandy or too sweet. I was intrigued by this ad, so I bought a sample. Kind of disappointed with my first taste. It wasn't chocolatey enough and had a thin texture even when mixed with the recommended amount of water and my vitamin blend. It was too cute! I can't understand why companies would want to add sweeteners to their products, I'd rather do it myself. Option 2: I mix the powder with water, but this time I add 1 tbsp of whipped cream to fluff it up (technically I know the plant-based smoothie is deprecated, but I learned this trick to make the smoothie to make thicker). I also added 1-2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa and mixed it into the vitamin mix. It's gotten sooo thick and thick. The texture is great, smooth. It was quite tasty but still too sweet and with a sweetish aftertaste. Pros: mixes very well, not grainy. Disadvantages: very sweet, bizarre aftertaste, not rich aroma, expensive.
