I have been using these calipers for about 2 weeks. I use them to measure objects I want to 3D print. So far it hasn't disappointed. An extra battery was included. Well, it was needed because it was necessary to merge what was already installed. Accuracy is good. I took several measurements on the shank of the drills and the results are repeatable. Expanding and then closing back to reads 0 as I expected. There's a null button that you can use to measure the difference between two objects if you're not very good at math. The display turns on as soon as you move the jaws. No need to use the power button. The inch/mm setting is saved when the power is turned off, so you only have to set it once.
