I used them in an old car and found the base that plugs into the socket on the car is too short; the thick rim above it does not allow the bulb to penetrate deep enough into the socket. Not wanting to return them, I took a Dremel tool and cut this part on both lamps. After that, the headlights work normally. However, I cannot recommend them as you have no way of knowing if they will work for you until you buy them. If you have a Dremel tool and are brave, go ahead, but honestly I'd suggest buying something else.
