Review on 🏰 Thermaltake Tower 900 Snow Edition: Ultimate E-ATX Vertical Super Tower Chassis with Tempered Glass and Fully Modular Design - CA-1H1-00F6WN-00 by Victor Garro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This case is perfect for those who want to make a custom water bow.

First off, this case is perfect for those who want to customize a water contour or two, hard line, soft line doesn't matter, it will look great. Unfortunately when I received this case there were a few issues with it that didn't earn it a 5 star rating. List of Bent Parts: The front fan controller slot tray looked like it was plugged into the case, I had to take it off and bend it back into place. The two rear doors (those that are removed with spring clips) both twisted when removed and did not lay flat when removed; also had to be bent. Inside the case at the front are two 2.5 SSD bays/brackets, four screw brackets each bent to touch the bottom panel. also inflected. Rear Hard Drive Carrier, The upper metal case that holds the two plastic hard drive trays was bent to the point where it touched the metal carrier below. The two plastic inserts in the curved shell were completely jammed in the shell until both tilted down 45 degrees and had to be removed with pliers. Unfortunately, these two trays are plastically deformed and cannot be bent back; Luckily I didn't plan on using them as I have 3 radiators and needed space. The back door (the largest) eventually fell to the ground as one of the corners was smashed inwards. Now I have no idea if the previous owner of this case was just trying to work with his thumbs and his only tool was a hammer, or if it was an assembly issue because much of that damage could not have been caused during shipping. In the case of new or resale goods, quality assurance must always be taken into account. That being said, this case is amazing and my experience shouldn't put you off Thermaltake as I've been using their products for at least a decade. and this is only the third time I've had the problem (not that many considering how many builds I've done, an amazing tally actually). Just remember that different products can be mounted in different places compared to other products from the same manufacturer and from time to time something will get damaged. Great case, still recommended for anyone who wants a nice big case for water-cooled builds. Just remember to lift your legs.
