Initially this rug was seen as a decent product at a good price that stayed in place very well. After about a week, I found that the soft waffle texture had fully adhered to my renovated hardwood floor. . I bought 2 mats, an 8x10 duo-lock mat http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030A4BFW/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and this 5x8 piece of waffle junk. I wasn't held to the same standards by which I judged the thicker, more expensive mat, but was pleased with how our mat stayed in place with this mat. However, I now think this is partly because the carpet has a stranglehold on my poor floor, and the carpet is just a nice mask for this carnage. For this reason I cannot recommend this product. Jump in for better cushioning and be glad you don't have bits of Perma PVC waffle foam on your own floor.
