Terrible smell and very sticky to chopped
I love the price of these mats and they really work. But first you need to get rid of the nasty chemicals that carpets contained when they first hit the market. It will take some time for this smell to go away. Also be prepared for some issues with paper that won't separate from the mat (especially lighter weight paper) as the mats are very sticky initially. After a few uses they become less sticky and the paper doesn't tear when you try to remove it from the mat. If you're willing to wait out the smell and excessive stickiness, this is good value for money.
